The Changing of the Season by Andy Pedersen

'the changing of the season.

by andy pedersen

the flowers bloom, when the spring rains come, and the
worlds a beautiful place.
many of these plants are so tiny and weak, their petals,
are like the finist lace.

they have waited all winter, and now its time, to sprout,
thru the newly warmed ground.
it's not so easy, to push up and grow. there's rocks,
weeds, and other roots, before getting to where the sunshine is found.

now they have broken thru their winter's tomb, and are
really starting to grow,
it seems like there are no limits, to where, they are
allowed to go

their flowers, open each morning, and point towards the
warm sky,
all of this beauty each day is done, without hardly even
having to try.

this is our FATHER's gift from above, and thats why they
smell so sweet.
Take the time each day, to walk past them, and enjoy this
heavenly treat.

but the coolness, of that breeze from the north, we have
started to feel, each day
just reminds that fall is here, and winters not too far away

soon the cold snow, will cover the ground, where the
flowers used to grow.
but thanks to our BROTHER, no need to worry, even though
winter passes so slow.

those flowers, next spring,  will again, raise their
heads, and point them, towards the sky.
just remember this when someone close goes away, there's
really no reason to cry.

after a while, your day will come, when you to, are dressed
in white.
and after a few steps, with an angel by your side, heaven
will in your site
